 Whether using
analog or digital audio technology, my focus is to
provide the solo musician, singer, band or vocal ensemble a
professional-quality audio master, either for
release
on the retail market, or for a high-quality demo recording in the media
format of your choice.
With extensive experience in working with analog tape machines from cassette
formats to professional multi-track units; I understand how to
calibrate them and set them up for best performance. As digital audio
technology was introduced and new tools became available, these
capabilities were added to my engineering repertoire. I currently use a variety
of
computer-based digital audio workstation (DAW) software and other audio
processing software in my production workfor clients.
Doug Brunelle - Recording Engineer/Producer
As an experienced recording engineer
and performing musician - I have worked with sound and recording for over
35 years, and have been a professional musician for the same period of time. My performing
experience encompasses a huge variety of styles - classical,
country,
rock, jazz, and world music. From military marches to sambas to
bluegrass, I have played these styles in military/civilian bands, orchestras, wind
ensembles, and as a studio musician.
Understanding these musical
idioms is important to knowing how to work with an artist to bring
their artistic vision to fruition in any given recording project. I
bring this understanding to the table, which enables me to meet or exceed your expectations for the finished
product.
Music, and audio technology, have been passions
in my life, for most of my life, and I bring that passion, musical
knowledge and experience, as
well as my engineering skills, to
each client's project.

I can help you achieve your goals.
